The author presents a comparative study of the Guru/disciple relationship and the Jungian analytic process. In Guru, Psychotherapist and Self, he explores the guru/disciple relationship in Tantric tradition, Hindu and Tibetan tradition as well as discussing Eastern and Jungian views regarding self-realization, and the therapeutic relationship.
