Ego and Self grew from a lecture series, edited by J. Gary Sparks. The author provides a psychological commentary on the prophetic books from Isaiah to Malachi that are found in the Old Testament. This text is a continuation of his exploration of the relationship between the stories of the Old Testament and the psyche.
