In The Bible and the Psyche, the author explores the archetypal images found in the Old Testament in order to illuminate the relationship of the mythologems of the Bible to personal individual experiences. Applying the concepts of depth psychology, the author shows how the chronology of biblical events is analogous to the individual’s psychological movement towards wholeness.
