The central premise of Modern Mysticism is that “the unconscious mind is the seat of religious experience.” The author approaches such experience as a natural process of the mind and considers the notion that it flows from within and is a realization of inner hidden resources. He illustrates these ideas through a discussion of psychic encounters such as, dreams, visions, imaginations and creative activity.
