The Red Book Reading Program

Presented by Nancy Furlotti, M.A. and J. Gordon Nelson, Ph.D. - Sold Out

The Red Book was the heart of Jung's extended self-exploration, his "confrontation with the unconscious," which he undertook from 1914 to 1930. "The years... when I pursued the inner images, were the most important time of my life. Everything else is to be derived from this. It began at that time, and the later details hardly matter anymore." – C.G. Jung

In order to do justice to this immensely significant book, we will read slowly through the sections as a class, so that we may better understand what Jung so profoundly experienced. While it is not expected that we will be able to get through the entire book, this seminar is intended as an introduction to the text, and the beginning of an ongoing study.
