On Sunday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to noon, please join us in celebrating the release of Jungian analyst Sharon Heath’s sixth novel, Invisible Threads!
Pre-order your copy of Invisible Threads HERE.
What kinds of threads make up the fabric of a family? What are the stories we tell ourselves about them? And how do they intertwine with the time and place of our birth, the trials and triumphs of our ancestors, the vicissitudes of our larger human family? Was Leo Tolstoy’s narrator of Anna Karenina, right? Are happy families really all alike? And what is a happy family, anyway?
Most families are a complex weave of bloodlines, fault lines, ancient and recent history, shared values and beliefs, secret grudges and betrayals, unspoken longings, guilt and envy, dashed and realized dreams. Invisible Threads explores these themes and more.
Sharon will read some excerpts and speak about the origins of the book. Refreshments will be served. The event is free, but please RSVP so that we can plan accordingly. Copies of the book will be available for sale, which Sharon will be delighted to sign.
Sharon’s work has been published in Psychological Perspectives and Jung Journal: Culture & Psyche. She has blogged for Terra Spheres and the Huffington Post, and she blogs on current affairs at www.sharonheath.com. She is a contributor to Marked by Fire: Stories of the Jungian Way, edited by Naomi Lowinsky and Patricia Damery; Depth Psychology and the Digital Age, edited by Bonnie Bright; and Cultural Complexes and the Soul of America: Myth, Psyche, and Politics, edited by Thomas Singer. Thomas-Jacob Publishing, LLC has released her three novels of The Fleur Trilogy, as well as Chasing Eve, The Mysterious Composition of Tears, and now Invisible Threads.
