Born in Schaffhausen, Switzerland in 1928, Dr. Baumann is a grandson of C.G. Jung and the brother of Wolf Baumann. As a young man he became interested in psychiatry and the work of his grandfather. He took a medical degree at the University of Zurich and practices in both Zurich and Milan. He lectures worldwide and is often consulted by Americans who travel to Switzerland for analysis.
